Come as a beginner or continue with your skills. Our classes and workshops provide all you need to come get your hands muddy. Come be as happy as a Slug in the mud!

Our current studio is cozy, the classes are small, and you get a relaxing, creative space to explore the wonderful material of clay.

If you are ready to take your throwing past mugs and bowls then this is where you belong.

This class takes intro skills and builds on them. We will focus on more controlled throwing on the wheel. You will learn how to throw off the hump, throw a double wall vessel, add lids to your pieces in 3 different ways, and throw pots in multiple sections and attach.

This class is open to your ideas as well, if there is something specific you want to focus on we can work it in!

Intro to Pottery

Join us for 6 weeks of instruction on the basics of handbuilding methods, using the wheel, finishing and carving work, and glaze. Our instructor will provide guidance and advice for your ideas or provide lots of projects for you to try. You will be given lots of freedom to learn more about the building styles of your choice as the class goes on. This class provides a broad base of skills that start you on your fantastic journey with clay. Class are held in my home studio, The Haven, and you will benefit from a small class size and lots of attention!

Guided Studio sessions

4 weeks every month to use the studio to practice or build a specific project. Flexible and open to anyone who wants guidance. You can work on the wheel or build by hand. Take your time and work at your own pace. All clay, firing and glazing is included. Take as many times as you like.

Make a hand built teapot

$125

Join us for a 2 nights to create your own hand-built teapot! Night one you will learn some hand-building basics and construct your teapot from a template. Day 2 you will come back to trim, carve and decorate before we fire it! You will receive your finished piece in 2 weeks. All supplies and tools are included.

Fairy House Hand building

$65

Want to invite fairies or gnomes to your garden this year? What better way than to build them a home! In this workshop, you will have a template to work from to build a small fairy home and add some decorations. We will fire it for you and have it back to you in a few weeks.
